Honda & Acura Performance handbook. 1999.

By Mike Ancas

ISBN Number 0-7603-0669-9

This book is fairly modern. "The Honda and Acura Performance Handbook". Before you can build a fire-breathing monster Honda, you have to learn the basics, right? Well, the first couple of chapters cover the fundamentals. . . From there, Mike takes a look at all the different areas of Honda Performance for both older and new models. One chapter covers nothing but engine swaps, a pretty hot topic in the Honda world. Mike has geared the book slightly towards the average weekend warrior, not the full-blown race prep house. The book covers both the earlier torsion-bar cars as well as the latest VTEC modifications, giving something for everyone. If you recently bought an Integra Type R or Civic Si and want to get started in autocross or drag racing, then this book will definitely get you headed in the right direction.
